Process of getting selected into a B-School; Analogy

B-Schools - Market or the consumers

Students - Products

Written exam conducted by these B-Schools - Undergoing the quality control test before getting into the market

Cleared the written test - Passed quality control test and launched into market

Interview process - Advertising so as to sell the product

Candidate with work experience - Product already exists in the market aiming for a new high

Fresher - Newly launched product

Extra-curricular activities - Product getting endorsed by a celebrity

Selected - Product successfully launched and reached it's target customers

Rejected and preparing to do well next year - Failed to reach the expectations of the customers due to poor advertising and should be re-launched some time later with some other strategy
